NEW YORK – A security guard and alleged shoplifter were both arrested late Friday after a dispute near a Century 21 department store in Lower Manhattan, CBS New York reports. Witness Brian Fraser says his video shows a man who says, "I can not breathe," while he is being arrested by claimants at Century 21, Cortland Street, just before 10:30 pm
Fraser told CBS New York by phone One of the security officers even beat the alleged shoplifter once.

The police reviewed the video, accusing 24-year-old Acosta Wilson of assault.
Police Said Reputed Shoplifter Victor Roberson (19659002) When the police arrived, they were told that Roberson put two pairs of expensive Prada shoes worth over $ 800 into his backpack without paying.
Roberson is charged with minor theft and possession of stolen goods. According to the NYPD, Robertson had several past arrests for petty crime and larceny and an active arrest warrant.
"I never feel that it is justifiable to hurt someone if they do not try to hurt you," Shawnte Thompson said
It is not known if either has a lawyer who works for them can talk to him. Century 21 said Wilson had been suspended from his job until an investigation was pending
"We will continue to fully cooperate with law enforcement," said Century 21's executive director in a statement.
