At the time of writing, the eShop has been closed for at least 4 hours. Nintendo’s Japanese customer support Twitter account has repeatedly apologized for this issue, but did not provide a timeline for the fix.
Although Nintendo or Capcom did not comment specifically on this connection, the outage coincided with the release of the “Monster Hunter Rise” demo version, which includes two missions and two upcoming Switch exclusive tutorials.Yesterday’s Monster Hunter live broadcast revealed many new monsters and detailed information about the game, including new features that allow you to ride monsters (features that can be tested in the demo).
