Nine Oregon ZIP codes with the latest coronavirus cases per capita

Since the pandemic began, Oregon has recorded far more coronavirus cases last week than earlier this month, breaking the record set at the beginning of this month, as communities from Eastern Portland to Eastern Oregon have seen dozens of new infections Case.

The Oregon Department of Health reported that in the week ending Sunday, there were 2,642 confirmed or suspected infections. This number surpassed the 2,327 in the previous week and easily exceeded the 2,41

8 record set at the beginning of this month.

The surge in the number of cases in Oregon is immediate. But weekly quantitative analysis provides a new context for these figures, showing that cases are steadily spreading, rather than just breaking out in a few communities.

Tualatin, Prineville, Ashland, Stayton, North Bend, Springfield and Central Point have more cases than usual, while other leaders have remained stable.

Oregonian/OregonLive monitors weekly changes in state coronavirus data and reports the areas with the most weekly changes via zip codes.

Our analysis highlights the regions with the most recent cases and the postal codes with the most recent cases in general that are related to the population of the area.
