New Mexico reports 14 new deaths and another 659 COVID-19 cases

The number of deaths among New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 3,685.

In addition to deaths, the state has also reported 659 cases of COVID-19. As of last Friday, New Mexico has reported 184,736 cases.

  • 15 new cases in Otero County
  • 1 new case in Quay County
  • Nine new cases in Rio Aliba County
  • 26 new cases in Sandoval County
  • 10 new cases in San Juan County
  • 2 new cases in San Miguel County

  • 191 new cases among inmates of the New Mexico Department of Corrections at Lee County Correctional Facility

KOB 4 determined that the positive rate of the tests analyzed in the state’s Friday report was 3.79%.

The state reported that 226 people in New Mexico are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

As of Friday, the New Mexico Department of Health has designated 141,833 COVID-19 cases that have recovered.
