Microsoft is building on its gift program, which allows users to send all Xbox One and PC games and content to friends and family through the Microsoft Store. [1
For those who do not know, the company This feature was already introduced in 2017, but it was limited. Only a handful of Xbox One titles, content and subscriptions for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass were part of the deal.
How to Send Digital Gifts
Step 1: Go to the Microsoft Store on Windows 10, Xbox One or the Internet
Step 2: Looking for a game, a Content or a subscription. Content includes map packs and in-game skins, just to name a few.
Step 3: Click on "Buy as a Gift" on the product page and enter the email address or gamertag (on the Xbox) One of the recipients

That's pretty much everything. All that's left to do is to have the recipient redeem the code, or click the redemption button for Xbox gamers.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind. For starters, users can not send games they already own. In essence, this means they can only buy products on behalf of their friends or family, or in other words, it's not "game sharing." In addition, users can only buy two games with discounts every 14 days, and there is a limit of 10 discounted items available. Also, Xbox 360 and Xbox original games can not be sent as gifts, as well as pre-orders, free products and consumable DLC like virtual currency.
Last but not least, gifts can only be bought in the country or region where it was purchased.
According to Microsoft, the digital game gift option should already be available to all users.
