Starting on December 2, McDonald’s McRib has restored its menu nationwide for the first time since 2012.

The limited-time pork sandwiches are brought back every year, but they are notoriously hard to find. McDonald̵

7;s even released its own McRib locator app to help customers find restaurants that sell it.

The fast food giant brought McRib to 10,000 of its 14,000 US restaurants last year, the largest since 2012. Since 1982, the product has been on McDonald’s menus in the United States, helping the chain attract customers to its restaurants during the holidays.

As McDonald’s sales in the United States are rebounding from the coronavirus pandemic, it will be launched nationwide this year. In early October, the chain said that same-store sales in its domestic market had increased by nearly 5% in the most recent quarter. Although the resurrection of the Covid-19 case may hinder McDonald’s recovery, the popularity of McRib may further drive sales growth.

The share price of McDonald’s, with a market value of $166 billion, has risen 8% so far this year.
