Mottola told Page Six that he “showed such a deep satisfaction with Mariah’s well-deserved achievement and continues to wish her and her family the best.”

Mariah’s entire message also includes how Derek Jeter played a key role in helping Carey leave her husband.

She shared: “He was the catalyst that motivated me to get out of this relationship because I believe there are others.”

She also revealed that the two songs “The Roof and My All” from her 1997 album “Butterfly” are related to the former New York Yankees shortstop.
