Katy Perry called “Hopeful American Idol” on Sunday’s show. Casey Bishop is indeed very good. Senior judge Luke Bryan went further.
He said: “I think she was the goddamn winner of the’American Idol’ period.” (Watch the video below.)
Bishop, 15, from Estero, Florida, said that before the audition, she “really had no acting experience,” even though she was said to be studying at a performing arts school.
Her undeniable talent is overflowing with a cappella version of “Live Wire”
After Perry asked her to highlight the soul part of her voice, Bishop sang the second song-which proved firm in Bryan’s prophecy.
Brian compared her impression to the 2019 trial of musician Alejandro Aranda, after which Perry predicted that he would win. Aranda continued to win second place.
The next bishop is Hollywood Week.Good luck, kid
