The petition requesting LeVar Burton to become the new “Jeopardy!” petition organizer is getting more and more attention, and it has almost reached its goal of 75,000 signatures on Friday. Fans hope he can replace Alex Trebek, who died of pancreatic cancer on Sunday who hosted the show since 1984.

“The Change.org petition listed his achievements and said:” LeVar Burton inspired and shaped generations of trivial nerds.

The petition caught Burton’s attention, BurtonLobbyed for this work in a tweet last September and thanked himSupport from fans to seek to become the host of the quiz show.

He said on Twitter: “Even if there is nothing, I can’t tell how much I thank you all for your love and support!” Alex Trebeck’s family (sic) is related to his millions of fans and the devastating loss of this irreplaceable saga.”

Game show legend Trebek, beloved “Jeopardy!” The host who showed dignity and perseverance in March 2019 is 80 years old.

Since the premiere of Revival in 1984, he has hosted the most acclaimed syndicated series and the most talented TV quiz show “Jeopardy!” (Art Fleming hosted an early version of NBC between 1964 and 1975). Will Ferrell’s “Saturday Night Live” imitation not only highlights Trebek’s lofty cultural status, but also makes it dazzling.

But Trebek, who has won seven Emmys, will be remembered forever. He was an erudite, well-dressed attendee who provided a modest form for academic exhibitions, turned answers into questions, and made Ken Jennings and James Holzol went from brainstorming to rock stars.

Sony has a small number of possible hosts that have not been disclosed. One obvious choice is GOAT Jennings for the show, as he is currently the consulting producer of the show.
