Lenovo’s LaVie Mini is basically a Nintendo Switch-Style laptop

If you like Nintendo Switch, but want it to be more of a PC, then Lenovo’s LaVie Mini wants to realize this wish. LaVie Mini is an “ultra-portable pocket Windows PC” launched before CES 2021, with an 8-inch touch screen, 11th generation Intel Core i7-1180G7 CPU and Intel Iris Xe graphics. It also weighs only 1.28 pounds.

However, its biggest selling point is the wireless connectable controller connected to the LaVie Mini, which is different from the Joy-Con of the Switch. It even has an optional dock that allows users to connect it to any TV or monitor and enjoy content at 4K/60FPS.

The layout of the wireless controller is the same as the Xbox controller, and third-party controllers are also supported. Since it is a small device, there is no trackpad, but it does have an optical touch sensor.

Unfortunately, Lenovo did not announce the release date or price of the LaVie Mini, which seems to be very similar to the Alienware UFO, which also looks like a Nintendo Switch. Since the Alienware UFO was unveiled at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2020) in 2020, we have been little known.
