Los Angeles (KABC)-The Los Angeles Police Department is mourning the death of its fourth employee from the coronavirus.

Police Service Representative Raymond L. Guerrero is a 24-year-old employee of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and was assigned to the Department of Communications. According to a statement issued by the police on Saturday, the death was due on Thursday. The cause of death was related to COVID -19 related.

Officials said his wife (also PSR of the Department’s Communications Department) and two daughters survived.

The official said in the statement that Guerrero is “committed to ensuring that every service call made by the community members we serve is answered. We thank you for your service and we will miss you very much.”
