Los Angeles police said on Friday that two of Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs were stolen by thieves, who allegedly injured and stolen them while beating their dogs.
Captain Jonathan Tippett, commander of the Elite Robbery and Murder Division, said a woman took the dog to the LAPD Olympic Community Police Station northwest of the city center.
Lady Gaga’s representative and detective went to the station to confirm that they were dogs. The singer is currently shooting a movie in Rome.
Tippert said the woman who left the dog appeared to be “unrelated” to the attack on Wednesday night. It is still unclear how she raised the dog.
Ryan Fischer, the dog-walker, was shot dead in Hollywood while edging the dogs of three singers. The video showed a white car pulled up and two men jumped out. They struggled with the dog walkers, then pulled a gun and fired one shot, and then fled the two dogs.
The dog walker can be heard in the video saying that he was shot in the chest. Tippet said he hopes to survive.
Last Friday, Lady Gaga once again expressed her willingness to provide a reward of $500,000 to return her dogs named Koji and Gustav without raising any questions.
She wrote in an Instagram post: “I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You will always be a hero.”
