Champion Kyle Busch will not win this year, but he won in Texas on Wednesday, reaching 16 with at least one victory to extend his season winning streak, which puts him behind history. The highest record was two years.
Bush (Busch) did his best to win Martin Truex Jr. (Martin Truex) for the first time in this season’s cup, ending a 33-game unbeaten streak. Bush won the championship for the 16th consecutive season. He tied for third place in the All-Time Cup with Ricky Rudd, Rusty Wallace and Jimmie Johnson. Richard Petty has a record of at least one victory for 18 consecutive seasons.
“I was very nervous throughout the final round,” Busch told NBCSN after winning the 57th game of the professional league. “The last three laps are like winning a championship, which makes me very nervous.”
More: Competition results
It’s been a long time since Bush won the Cup. He initially forgot to make his trademark bow after getting the checkered flag. He also had to run out of gas in his car and drove the car to the victory lane.
“This year, our results have not been the best, but we have been working hard and formulating strategies in areas that can be improved. It is great to see some of these results have been rewarded tonight,” Bush said.
Christopher Bell finished his career-high third place, followed by Ryan Blaney and Alex Bowman.
The game stopped on Sunday afternoon after 52 weeks, and the game resumed on Wednesday. Due to continuous rain and mist, the game was suspended for 72 hours, 28 minutes and 34 seconds.
Joey Logano is the only driver to win a place in the championship. Bush was eliminated in the playoffs.
Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski headed for Sunday’s game in Martinsville and entered The last three turning points of the championship.
Harvey scored 42 points higher. Hamlin was 27 points above the cutoff line. Keselowski was 25 points above the cut-off line.
Off the line are Bowman (-25 points), Chase Elliott (-25), Trux (-36) and Kurt Bush (-81).
