The war is finally over. Or at least the one between two of the hottest pop stars of this generation – Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.
On Tuesday, May 8, Perry Swift sent a literal olive branch to mark the end of her much acclaimed celebrity feud, allegedly producing two hit-diss songs.
"So I just got into my wardrobe and found this olive branch," Swift said on an Instagram video. "That means a lot to me."
The 28-year-old singer-songwriter showed fans the contents of the box, which contains a letter written by Perry himself and a puppy sticker that looks like [American Idol] Judge Dog, Nugget, MTV. Swift also shared a portion of the letter, handwritten by the 33-year-old star herself, apologizing for everything she had done in the past.

As a reminder, the feud between the Both pop stars started years ago when Swift was on their Red tour. The "Delicate" singer accused Perry of sabotaging her world tour by poaching her dancers.
However, the dancers decided in 2013 to go aboard the Prism tour because they were much closer to the "Fireworks" singer anyway. In an interview with The Examiner, Lockhart Brownlie said that they would not dance much in Swift's shows and therefore get bored.
In 2014, Swift Perry shaded by telling Rolling Stone that her hit single "Bad Blood" was about a pop star trying to sabotage her show. Swift also made it clear that the drama between her and the unnamed singer (whom everyone understood was Perry) was not about anyone else. (Note: Both Swift and Perry dated John Mayer.)
