By the end of 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have shared a special message with anyone who may be experiencing an unprecedented year of suffering. The Cambridge native wrote on Instagram: “This Christmas, our idea is to be with those who are only here today, those who are saddened by the loss of their loved ones, and those who are dissatisfied on the front lines. Energy stagnates our own lives, and runs the risk of taking care of the rest of us.”
They continued: “I wish you a Merry Christmas, this year feels wrong, so we hope 2021 is better.”
