Jeremy Lin’s return to the Santa Cruz Warriors on Sunday morning must look like a defender who has not missed the first five games.
In Santa Cruz’s 109-104 victory over the Austin Spurs, Lin scored 25 points. This helped the Warriors win their eighth straight game and finished fifth in seven days.
The NBA winner took 7 of 10 from the field in the victory. He also grabbed four rebounds and four assists.
For Jeremy Lin, the Warriors’ second-round draft pick Nico Mannion was even better.
Mannion scored a career-high 27 points, the highest game for both parties. He shot 10 from 21 from the field, including 5 from 9 from 3-point range. Mannion also added four assists and two rebounds.

When Lin wanted to make his NBA comeback, Mannion proved his long-term development in Golden State. If they continue to compete like this, both goals can be achieved.
