Unlike many of you, in 2020, I suddenly don’t have more free time to play games. I already work from home, my children are still very young and need a lot of attention from me. Therefore, I maintained the rules that I made last year that I will not invest a lot of time in any game that cannot be paused. In fact, the rule is more like I don’t have time to play games that I can’t use the Steam Link app on the Switch or phone. Despite these restrictions, I still have many games that can be included in the list. This is what I got in the end.
10. Angry Street 4
I like to go back and play “Angry Street 2”. My wife and I end the performance about once a year. The best thing about “Angry Street 4” I reviewed is that I plan to play it again in the future.
9. Microsoft Flight Simulator
For this reason, I removed “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” from my top ten, but this is correct. I like Animal Crossing, but it is side by side with Fall Guys and other games that are essentially social games, and it has to do with my relationship with other people. And I don’t want to consider including these games on the list, they are not even competing in my brain. Flight Simulator is a technological marvel, and it feels like this type is being opened up to more people with huge zoom difficulty. This is also one of the rare games that I turned into an event by removing the flying joystick.
8. Paper Mario: King of Origami
Nintendo and Intelligent Systems mentioned many key aspects in Mario on Paper: The King of Origami. It has a large number of outstanding characters, is very interesting, and is very different in terms of mechanism and environment. Its only drawback is the combat system, which is boring at best. Fortunately, you can avoid many battles, and you only have good things left.
7. Tony Hawk’s professional skater 1 + 2
As I wrote in the comments, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is the platonic ideal of the game. Skateboarding and video games are soulmates. Over the years, the game has not been better than this.
6. Pikmin 3: Luxury
Pikmin 3: From 2013, Deluxe is still mainly Pikmin 3, but this is also the best Pikmin game so far. It edits Wii U games into content that can be easily played on Switch. This means you will enjoy a satisfying cycle of working with small crew members to achieve results and expand Pykhmin’s forces.
5. Astronomy Game Room
About Astro’s Playroom, what I have to say is:

4. Ori and the will of the elf
“Ori and the Wisps of Wisps” has the best mobility in 2D games. Combining interesting exploration, exciting boss fights, mobile characters and best music, it is not difficult to see why it is GamesBeat’s best game of the year. This is also one of my favorites and the game I have been thinking about.
Sometimes the studio will go all out to create a miraculous feeling. This is what happened to Supergiant Games and Hades. The performance and appearance of this masterpiece is better than almost any other game. It performs better than any other game in Greek mythology, which means that considering how many games use this source material. If you only do those things, that’s enough. But then, Supergiant moves on and solves the rogue obstacles by constructing a linear narrative that will continue to evolve even if you have to start over.
In five years, prepare to play many games from independent game companies and large budget studios, all of which have Hades as the main influence.
2. Hardspace: Shipbreaker
The game in which you build things has gained a lot of attention and praise. “Minecraft” is very popular, Roblox may become one of the largest IPOs in 2021. However, we should not forget that games are indeed excellent at giving us powerful capabilities. And Hardspace: Shipbreaker’s advantage in this regard is better than almost anything else. It is very satisfying to use a laser gun to slowly peel off the broken space shuttle. But it can also be exciting when you forget to decompress the cabin and eventually blow up into space before the nuclear explosion of the spacecraft. That is one of my favorite moments of the year.

I may have spent dozens of hours in SnowRunner trying to move the truck 50 feet. I think that is a good time. The game encouraged my weird behavior. Fighting every inch of the battle feels like real progress. So I know to many people that a game about being stuck in mud or snow seems confusing or boring. But the reality is that this is a game about having options. If I get stuck in the mud, SnowRunner makes me do everything possible to make it drive again, so that I don’t lose the progress I have made.
Relative to MudRunner, developer Saber Interactive also improved SnowRunner as a game. This takes the form of establishing shortcuts and bridges, providing tangible rewards for completing tasks.
In a video game this year, nothing is more satisfying than pulling this truck out of the mud. pic.twitter.com/p7yyP6cVdS

But in fact, I am here for physics and terrain deformation. The actual behavior of the terrain makes every problem feel analogy and tactile. You won’t suddenly find wheels on good dirt-you really have to pull the drill through every inch of the dirt. Therefore, when you finally reach your destination, you will overcome your failures and gain achievements. What a game.
