In the first four games of the campaign, Jay Brown was impressed by Pritchard. After winning 116-111, he hyped the 22-year-old.
Brown said: “Peyton is a goat,” “Peyton comes in confidently. It absolutely needs a spark from the bench, and Peyton is everything to us tonight, and there is more. We will need more people to continue. Step up, but Payton Pritchard̵
Now, this is some high praise.
The Celtics will need Pritchard and other second team players to improve their scoring ability this season, especially Kemba Walker is not expected to return soon. Of course, Oregon products seem to be facing the challenge.
Pritchard will stay in this state when playing against the Memphis Grizzlies at TD Garden on Wednesday night.
