Soon after the Japanese “Hayabusa2” probe returned to Earth, JAXA showed some samples collected from the asteroid Ryugu. These rocks come from the “A” chamber of the probe sample capsule, which means they were collected when the mission first touched the ground in February 2019. December 21.
We have not yet confirmed the origin of man-made objects. A projectile was used during sample collection, which may be aluminum that was separated from the sampler horn at the time.
