It happened at around 6:45 on Saturday afternoon in our town alley, formerly Facenda Whitaker Lanes in the 2900 block of Swede Road.
The Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said the suspect, Jamel Barnwell, 17, was arrested. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities said Barnwell walked into the bowling alley with two other men and then had an argument with the victim, 29-year-old Frank Wade of West Philadelphia.
Barnwell was charged with shooting 1
Authorities said that Barnell and the people he lived in fled the bowling alley after the shooting. They left three mobile phones, one of which belonged to Barnwell.
“We are looking for all three men involved and seeking public help when looking for the shooter Barnwell. If you see him, please do not approach him because he has fled the bowling alley with a gun and is considered armed And dangerous. Kill Frank Wade.” Steele said.
Four other family members of Wade were also injured in the shooting. They were identified as a 31-year-old man, a 21-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 26-year-old man. List all four victims in stable condition at the district hospital.
Wade’s wife said that he is a caring husband and father of two who wants to be a cook.
Syreta Stanford said: “He is a good person. Frank is full of hopes and dreams. He has never been a violent person. He has never been on the street. He wants better.”
Related report: After shooting at a bowling alley in East Norrington, Pennsylvania, 1 person died and 3 others were injured.
Steele said there were about 50 to 75 people, including young children, and their gunfire broke out in the bowling alley. Some people hid in nearby mechanical cabinets.
“You start to hear’Pop pop pop pop pop’. You will hear them ringing, and everyone will start to panic and run backwards.
“Make sure they leave safely. My first priority is the children. I don’t care about myself. I don’t know how close that person is going, where he is, if he wants to get off the car.” Delmar’s fiance Megan Jantzi said.
The Zanzi family returned for a ride on Sunday. They left everything inside, and a stranger took them home.
Jane’s mother, Jenny, said: “It’s a great stranger. But I ended my conversation with him. Today I want to send him a letter of thanks.”
Barnwell faces murder. He is described as 6’1″ tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
