Reports of ongoing investigations indicate that medical providers headquartered in Orange County may have “fraudulently” obtained the COVID-19 vaccine and provided it to the public without following New York’s vaccine prioritization guidelines.

It went on to say that this would be “contrary to the state’s plan to first manage front-line medical staff and nursing home residents and staff.”
“We take this very seriously, and DOH will assist the state police in a criminal investigation of this matter. Anyone found to have deliberately participated in the plan will be held liable,” Zack said.
