A restaurant group will acquire the parent company of Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins for $11.3 billion.
This means that Guangzhou-based Dunkin’ Brands will join Atlanta-based Inspire Brands and its more than 11,000 Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Sonic Drive-In, Rusty Taco and Jimmy John’s restaurants worldwide.
Inspire Brands CEO Paul Brown said in a press release: “Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins are category leaders with a rich history of more than 70 years. Together, they are the two most iconic restaurant brands in the world.”
