The new Super Smash Bros. game for Nintendo Switch will be playable on the E3 public viewing floor. Understandably, given the profile and popularity of the franchise, many were annoyed at the idea of having to stand in line for a long time to enjoy the show. The good news is that Nintendo today announced an early reservation system that will allow you to secure a place to avoid the lines.
Here's how it works: If you buy a ticket for the E3 2018 by May 31st, you will receive an e-mail from ESA – the E3 organizes – on June 5 with details on how to get an electronic ticket to the E3 Can reserve games. Nintendo said you should be sure to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your email so it is not labeled as junk. You can reserve a "for fun" ticket to play casual games, or a "for glory" ticket that puts you in a more competitive game. Your ticket will come as a QR code, which you can either retrieve or print on your mobile phone.
Nintendo has added that you need to sign up for Super Smash Bros. for Switch. "No on-site registration will be available," the company said, so you'll absolutely want to do that. Nintendo added that it does not take reservations for other games at its booth. For these games you can just show up and wait in line.
