Hicks declined CNN’s request for comment.
After leaving, she served as chief communications officer at Fox Corporation, Fox News’s parent company.
She was once the recipient of Trump’s repeated calls, a witness to his most painful moments, and according to other campaign aides, she was the person who steamed wrinkles from his pants. Hicks is also one of the few trusted assistants often found in the White House residence.
But after she left the White House for the first time, her relationship with Trump has changed dramatically.
Hicks told members of Congress when she testified in June last year that she had only had 5 to 10 conversations with Trump since she left the White House.
However, Hicks still maintains close contact with senior White House advisers, the president’s son Jared Kushner and other senior White House aides.
Hicks was a model who joined the Trump Organization for public relations work with Ivanka Trump, and joined Trump’s presidential campaign early in the game. From his political career to the White House, she was still one of the few aides who followed him.
Hicks not only maintains a close relationship with the president (known as “Hope”), but also with his family including Ivanka Trump and Kushner.
