Another white voice actor for “The Simpsons” has changed from borrowing a pipe to a colorful role.
According to The Wrap report, the white Harry Shearer will no longer speak for the black character Dr. Hibbert. In the episode “Wad Goals” next Sunday, Kevin Michael Richardson (“Bless the Deer”) will replace him.
Since 1990, Shearer has been appointing the most skilled doctor to Springfield (as opposed to Hank Azaria’s incompetent Dr. Nick). He also voiced Ned Flanders and Principal Skinner, and Fox confirmed to The Post that he would continue to voice other roles.
