After a haunting promo that implied that Kepner would hit her maker, Gray's Anatomy kept viewers on the verge of their seats to find out if they would survive their term before Sarah Drew the Longtime leaves medical drama. Prognosis?
She lives! Phew.
So it went on: During the episode on Thursday, Matthew (Justin Bruening) is taken to the hospital after rolling his car, revealing that April (Sarah Drew) was also in the vehicle with him. Yes, after the death of Matthew's wife, April came together with her ex-fiancé.
The doctors spend the hour warming Apres body before trying to revive it. Meredith quickly realizes that she's been through the same thing ̵
Also during the hour, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) turns her back on resignation, which Bailey reveals she is moving to New York so that Sofia can be closer to her other mother Callie (Sara Ramirez). But as Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) returns and discovers that Arizona has undergone a pediatric fetal surgery because of her move, is a curveball in their plans. Herman then says that she has been awarded a scholarship and wants to open a joint venture with Arizona, the Robbins-Herman Center, where she can teach new fetal doctors. Herman even agrees to open it in New York. Now viewers know that Arizona will have their happy ending before Capshaw's exit from the series, while April's exit is likely to be declared next week's season finale.
The season finale of Gray's Anatomy will air on Thursday, May 17 at 8 pm ET on ABC.
