The Android P public beta has allegedly shown that the Google Pixel 3 will have a notch on its display. Will Google really place a feature made famous by Apple's iPhone X on its flagship smartphone?

The Android P Public Beta may have leaked the fact that the Google Pixel 3 will have a notch, a feature popularized by Apple's iPhone X.
Google reportedly outdated Android P, so the upcoming version of the mobile operating system will support the hack. It makes sense that Pixel 3 will use these changes, but will Google really do it?
Google Pixel 3 Notch alleged leaks
As fans wait for Google Pixel 3 leaks and rumors, one of the intriguing questions revolves around the design of the smartphone. Will the pixel 3 have a notch?
The public beta of Android P obviously points to the likelihood that the Pixel 3 will actually have a notch. As Android Police pointed out, Android P displays only four notification icons in the status bar at the top of the screen. Notifications beyond the fourth are represented by dots, and users can only see what they are by opening the notification screen. In Android Oreo, smartphones will show up to seven notifications.
The manner in which alerts appear in the public beta version of Android P indicates that the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL have nicks. This is because with the clock and the notifications that occupy the left side of the status bar and the status icons such as those for battery and wifi on the right side, there is room for a notch on the display
Left behind by four notifications in the public beta version of Android P does not fit with existing Android phones with notch features. According to Gordon Kelly of Forbes, Google is testing the Pixel 3 design with Android P and is not just optimizing the mobile operating system to work well with all Android smartphones with the notch.
Google Pixel 3 Notch not yet confirmed [1
9659005] But without official confirmation from Google, or at least from trusted sources, there is some doubt that the Pixel 3 will really have a notch.
Adam Ismail of Tom's Guide is one of those people who are still unconvinced that the Pixel 3 notch happens. While the display function on Pixel 3 is not a bad estimate of why notifications were restricted to four, Ismail said that the reorganization, including the move to move the clock to the left side of the status bar, is for the sake of balance. Google may just want a cleaner look of the same room taken from both sides of the status bar.
Google needs to make sure that Android P runs properly on smartphones, regardless of whether they have the score or not. However, this does not mean that the Pixel 3 notch is confirmed. There remains a possibility, but further evidence or an official announcement may be required before all skepticism fades.
