In an email sent to the Google Nest mailing list this morning, Google included a small photo of the unreleased “Pixel Buds A” of the dark green variant that we exclusively revealed last week.
The email highlights the new features of the Google device and includes a link to the Google Store at the bottom and lists Pixel BudsA on “Accessories.”
This small image gave us a first glance at the new headset, and the colors on the earbuds, wingtips and charging case were more thorough. 9to5Google A similar white variant is also known. It also moved the external charging indicator to the top instead of just above the charging port of the second-generation Pixel Buds. The color displayed by the green Pixel Buds A is much darker than the Quite Mint currently offered and closer to forest green than the playful green blue.
The FCC listed a new Pixel Buds-like device and information about the product name we obtained from the product source, which appeared after the early discovery of marketing materials.
The subject of the message is “Your Nest device has just been upgraded”, and aims to let users know about the new features of Nest Hub, including sharing photos via voice and easier smart device control, as well as using Google TV with the Apple TV app for Chromecast. These features were just announced last week.
This is likely to indicate that Google is about to make an announcement about Pixel Buds A.
