Golfer Justin Thomas (Justin Thomas) apologized for using homophobia after missing a shot.
In the third round of the Sentinel Championship in Hawaii, Thomas failed to drop his putt and knocked him down with a microphone.
“I have absolutely no reason to say that. It’s terrible.” Thomas told the Golf Channel after the game. “no excuse.”
Thomas was unable to arrive immediately on Sunday. He told the Golf Channel that these comments did not reflect who he was. He said he was “sorry.”
The PGA said in a statement on Sunday: “As he said after the round, we agree that Justin’s comments are unacceptable.”
