The Washington football team is preparing for the playoffs with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today, and his former quarterback will begin his first trip.
Sources said that Dwayne Haskins (Dwayne Haskins) will have a free agent visit with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday night, which will begin on Monday morning.
This is the first trip of the former first-round player. Washington exempted him on December 28 and was subsequently granted an exemption, thanks in part to the remaining salary of $4.3 million he will pay. The new team may only pay Haskins the minimum wage.
Can Haskins be part of the solution? There are other teams interested in this talented player. He was selected 15th in 2019, which may be just a fact finding for Carolina.
However, if both parties proceed smoothly, it is possible to sign an agreement. Rhule has known Haskins since high school, and Ryan Day (Haskins coach in Ohio) worked at Temple at Rhem in 2006.
WFT released Haskins a few weeks before the start of the game. He was sitting on the bench and may not be active in the final game. In the same week, Haskins was fined and disciplinary action for attending a party with strippers, and in the photo he violated the COVID-19 agreement without wearing a mask.
After the release, Haskins said in a statement: “I take full responsibility for not meeting the NFL QB standards. Because of this experience, I will become a better person and player.”
