Forgotten copy of Super Mario Bros. sets record at auction

Super Mario Bros. (Super Mario Bros.) is an iconic video game popular with fans, which has undergone many changes since then, and was first produced in 1986.

It has two brothers, Mario and Luigi, who live in the Mushroom Kingdom and are accused of rescuing Toadstool who was kidnapped by Bowser, the king of toadstools. With a recognizable theme song, Mario has been a popular character among fans for decades.

According to the original instruction manual, the peaceful Mushroom Kingdom was invaded by the Kupa tribe, and the Kupa tribe turned the “quiet and peaceful” of the tortoise tribe into stones, bricks and plants. The only person who can reverse the magic is Princess Toadstool, the daughter of the Mushroom King.

In the game, the player will guide Mario (Mario) to release the princess and save the kingdom of the mushroom man. He navigates through eight levels, which are filled with huge mushrooms, sinister turtles and other strange obstacles.

“You are Mario! It’s up to you to rescue the Mushroom Man from Koopa’s dark magic!” The original instructions will tell the player.

Since the debut of Super Mario Bros. (Super Mario Bros.), the brothers have appeared in numerous games, saving new lands and rescuing more princesses, including Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Odyssey. The latest Super Mario 3D World was released in February for the Nintendo Switch system.

Mario’s business scope has also expanded beyond the world of video games.

In March, “Super Nintendo World” opened at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. Visitors can stroll through the familiar green pipes at the entrance of the park, explore Princess Peach’s castle, and eat burgers among giant mushrooms, all of which will play the Mario theme song in the background.
