His wife Amanda wrote on Instagram that Huber, known for being fans of Brodie Lee and Luke Harper, died of “non-Covid related Pulmonary disease” and is being treated at the Mayo Clinic.
She wrote on Saturday: “My best friend passed away today.” “There is no language to express my love or how broken I am now.”
WWE wrote in a speech commemorating his death on Saturday: “Huber has succeeded in every step of his sports and entertainment career, because his soft speech and strong presence helped him create countless in the ring. Awesome moment.”
All elite wrestlers also expressed their condolences to the families of wrestling stars. He said: “In an industry full of good people, Jon Huber is respected and loved by all sides.”
