Griddy can no longer operate in Texas.
ERCOT, which runs the state’s power grid, rejected Griddy’s business rights, saying the company had failed to pay part of the bill.
All Griddy customers are now transferred to other power suppliers.
Griddy issued a statement, part of which read: “Today, ERCOT accepted our members and effectively closed griddy.”
It continued: “We have been transparent and customer-centric at every step. We hope to continue to fight for relief for our members, and this has not changed.”
This is a developing story and will be updated as more detailed information is released.
