London-As the British government redoubles its efforts to reopen the economy, everyone in England will be able to get Covid tests twice a week for free.

The test result is given in about 30 minutes.People living in England will be able to order the test online Or collect them locally, the government announced on Monday. The plan will begin on Friday, when the country is preparing to reopen shops and bars in less than 1

0 days. Since the end of 2020, most have been closed.

British Health Secretary Edward Argar told Sky News on Monday: “This is a very important step forward, which will help us relax these restrictions and return life to normal in this country.”

England has been in lockdown mode since late December, but for a week, people have been allowed to meet outside in groups of six. At least three more benchmark dates are needed to remove all legal restrictions on social contact, and hopefully it can be completed before the end of June.

However, plans to fully reopen the economy will depend on the evolution of the pandemic and the country’s vaccination plan.

To date, more than 31 million people in the UK have received the first dose of vaccine. More than 5 million people have now been vaccinated with the second vaccine.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson will speak at 5pm UK time on Monday and outline plans for international travel rules.

Currently, international travel is limited to May 17.There are reports that once travel abroad is allowed, the quarantine rules will depend on the “traffic light system”, which means that people going to countries on the “green” list will not need to return to the UK and be quarantined

However, even from a low-risk destination, pre-arrival and post-arrival tests may be retained.

The Prime Minister is also expected to mention the Coronavirus Passport. These documents will state whether a person has been vaccinated, has recently been tested negative for the Coronavirus or has natural immunity.
