| Nashville, Tennessee
Early on Christmas morning, an explosion occurred in downtown Nashville, miles away.
At about 6:45 am on Friday morning, police and firefighters responded to the area near Second Avenue and Commercial Street.
Officials tried to extinguish the fire at the scene to see if anyone was inside the building.
There were initial reports of structural damage, but there was no immediate information about whether anyone was injured.
Images and videos taken in the area show flames and smoke-which can also be seen from miles away. I heard sirens in several buildings, and water poured into some buildings with damaged structures and broken windows.
After the incident, the trees on both sides of Second Avenue turned black.
This is a developing story.
