Since the March coronavirus pandemic, Disneyland Resorts in Anaheim have been closed, and most of them will serve as the first Super Distribution Point (POD) sites for the COVID-19 vaccine in Orange County.
The county official announced on Monday that the site is expected to be operational later this week. Also on Monday, Los Angeles County announced that it will phase out large-scale Covid-19 testing operations at Dodge Station this week in order to turn the stadium into a large-scale vaccination site.
“Disneyland Resort is the largest employer in the heart of Orange County, and has stepped up to host the county’s first super POD site – taking on the arduous task of our vaccination process,”
According to the county, the site will vaccinate thousands of residents every day.
