Deschutes County offers a free COVID-19 testing event at Fairgrounds on Wednesday

No symptoms or ID required; online registration required

Redmond, Oregon (KTVZ)-Deschutes County Health Services, in cooperation with the Oregon Health Authority, will provide a free drive-through COVID-19 test at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center from 11 am to 2 pm on Wednesday activity.

This test event is open to anyone. No symptoms or ID are required for testing. Participants are required to wear a mask and register online at https://www.doineedacovid19test.com/Redmond_OR_4369.html.

The staff will register for those who cannot pre-register on site. The individual will undergo a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, and the test results will be provided within two to three days.

“We are excited to provide our community with the opportunity to easily obtain free COVID-1

9 testing,” said Nahad Sadr-Azodi, Director of Public Health, Deschutes County. “This event will also enable our team to prepare for the future vaccine clinic at Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center.”
