Attorney Marc Sant told CNN: “A plea bargain was conducted and the agreement was sentenced to 15 years in prison.” He said that Muscat will also face financial penalties.
Santer pointed out that he did not represent the other two suspects accused of murder, brothers Alfred and George Degiorgio, but he told CNN that they continued to plead not guilty.
