“Cyberpunk 2077” developers respond to death threats after delay



Cyberpunk 2077 Design lead Andrzej Zawadzki condemned the death threats he and the CD Projekt RED team sent after announcing the latest delay in the game.

According to reports, Zawadski and his team received many death threats after further delays in Iraq. Cyberpunk 2077 -So far, this is the third time, from November 19 to December 10. The design leader later condemned these threats, calling them “unacceptable.”

He wrote: “I understand you are angry, disappointed and want to express your opinion.” “However, it is absolutely unacceptable to send death threats to developers. It is wrong. We are human, just like you.”

CD Projekt RED explained that the reason for the delay was “simultaneous release of the game on the current, next and PC”, which forced the team to test nine different versions of the game. This resulted in a three-week delay to “make sure everything is okay and every version runs smoothly.”

Cyberpunk 2077 It will now be released for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia on December 10. The game will also be played on PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S through backward compatibility, although a complete next-generation version is expected to be released in the future.
