Senior pranks are a rite of passage for many high school students across America. Before school goes into summer and school leavers leave the halls of their high school forever, the seniors make one last attempt to meet their teachers and principals.
A group of seniors in Cumberland, Wisconsin, left their mark on what the police called "one of the best senior jokes Cumberland High School has seen."
When the adults arrived at the scene, they saw an accident that looked like a car accident right in the middle of the high school front, leaving the back of a car sticking out of a gaping hole in the building. Photos that have shared the school and police department are initially restless ̵
On closer inspection, the teachers found that it was only half a car, probably from a junkyard, in front of a black tarp that looked like a huge hole in the wall. Loose stones were scattered across the scene as if the car had really flown straight to school. The group staged the "accident" right outside the headmaster's office, the school district said.
In true old prank fashion, the windows of the car were adorned with messages that said, "C-ya May 19, 2018!" and "CHS Class of 2018 We are Bustin Out."
In a post on his Facebook page, the Cumberland Police Department wrote: "Hats off to the Cumberland High School Class of 2018 Your Senior Prank Congratulations class from 2018 on one of the best senior pranks Cumberland High School has seen Congratulations to all seniors graduating. "
High school also took pictures of the" accident " posted. On a photo, preschool students pose in front of the car wreck with a sign that heightens awareness of teenage drinking. "Parents who host are losing the most," the banner says, referring to parents who allow minors to drink.
The prank was not only well executed, but also spread an important message for teens and their parents. So the 2019 class will have big shoes to fill next year.
