Crowd protests against “SNL” vaccine joke is anti-Semitism

“Saturday Night Live” did not laugh at all on West 49th Street, because dozens of people used megaphones and signs to protest the jokes about Israeli vaccination last week.

A few hours before the broadcast of the festival by former state legislator Dov Hikind, the crowd chanted “ashamed of NBC!”. And “Anti-Semitism is not funny!” Outside the entrance of NBC West 49th Street.

Comedian Michael Che joked in the recent “Weekend Update” section and caused a backlash: “Israel reports that they have vaccinated half of the population. I think this is half of the Jewish population.”

Hikkinder told The Post: “It’s amazing that they haven’t apologized yet.”

“What they did was so shocking, so scary, and I personally got tired of major networks like NBC that are obsessed with spreading hatred. They basically do it.”

He vowed to continue “everything that must be done” until the problem is confirmed.

He said: “I will not remain silent about things that really endanger the Jewish people.”
