Ohio Villa-Cleveland Brown’s defensive guards Denzel Ward and Kevin Johnson have been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 roster after missing the last two games, including Sunday in the playoffs Beat the Pittsburgh game.
Ward was selected as a Pro Bowl rookie in 2018 and has been Cleveland’s highest horn this season. Although Ward missed four games this year, he still led the NFL with 16 passes in the regular season.
Johnson is a free agent this offseason, he is the starter of the Bronx team.
Cleveland still hopes to remove Pro Bowl guard Joel Bittonio from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski also tested positive for the virus last week and said he hopes to rejoin the team through Thursday’s practice. Offensive coach Bill Callahan rejoined the team from the COVID list.
