The college will provide opportunities for high-quality education for students who are currently underserved in the local community.

In a statement, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback shared with the recording artist: “We have always believed that success in life begins with a good education, but we recognize that visits do not always create equality for all.”

They continued: “Why not the foundation was founded to give young people the ability to not adopt an attitude. That’s why our foundation is important… to help those unfortunate children open the door for them.

The couple said they hope this will be the first of many “why not you” college websites across the country.
