After several weeks of poor performance and the outside world, but in the end, the Bears coach Matt Nagy resigned.
As Najib announced today, Monday night will be hosted by offensive coordinator Bill Lazor.
Nagy: “This will give me the opportunity to take a step back and observe things from another angle.” https://t.co/4pA8Uyx4hH

Najib: “If I say it is easy, then I will lie. It is not easy. This is one of my favorite coaches. I like to play games.”

It felt like it was getting hotter and hotter for a while, even though Matt Nagy seemed to reject the idea. Whether Lazor suddenly makes a huge difference or not, this is reality: the Bears (and Nagy) absolutely must do this now before the season disappears completely. Considering the personnel and injuries, there may be no difference, but you need to know whether Nagy is the main player. At the very least, this will provide you with additional information for evaluation after the season.
Who knows? Perhaps it provides unexpected sparks for offenses ranging from troublesome to serious to cruel.
More coming soon.
