Earlier this morning, Capcom released the first screenshot of Oro in Season 5 of Street Fighter V: Champions Edition. Oro is currently scheduled to be released in the summer of 2021, after Rose was released in the spring of 2021.
In the screenshot, Oro’s mustard yellow complexion was clearly seen on his wrinkled forehead. His eyes also glowed red. If we don’t know who Oro is yet, it may lead us to think that Oro is a villain based on red eyes.
It is expected that Oro will compete on a certain theme, which will allow him to balance a turtle with one hand. In “Street Fighter 3”
Of course, we have seen how Oro briefly floats the turtle when activating the Tengu Stone. Based on the sound effects played in Oro’s Peeping at the end of the winter update stream, we think Tengu Stone is one of Oro’s V-Triggers.
It’s worth noting that the turtle in question can be seen sitting on top of Oro’s head in Capcom’s new screenshot. Of course, we can only see the tortoise’s legs. Since Oro should hold the tortoise during the game, it looks like this might be Oro’s introduction animation in Street Fighter 5.
Unfortunately, the screenshot cut off Oro’s mouth. However, it does clearly show that Oro has a very large nose and very large ears. Considering that he is a 140-year-old hermit and that his ears and nose are the only parts of the human body that never stop growing, this makes sense.
More information about Oro (and Rose) is expected to be released on the Spring Update live broadcast tomorrow, April 6. As always, we will report in the press release tomorrow.
The nomadic hermit Oro makes him return to #SFV for a long time!
