About to change
“Street Fighter V: Champions Edition” players may first come into contact with the new V-Shift robot later tonight, and now we can all understand exactly how it works.
Capcom has now released SF5̵
As previously revealed, both V-Shift and V-Shift Break are executed by pressing a punch and a kick at the same time, and the player has at least one V-Gauge inventory available.
However, the new feature is that this confirms that the V-Shift Break attack can be safely prevented outside of its extended range, so it seems that only recoverable damage is a fair trade-off.
Speaking of damage, we can also see follow-up examples of the V-Shift combination, which does damage regularly.
Not only that, but I also tested it to see if the attack after dodge would immediately scale down like V-Trigger activation. I can secretly report that the combination seems to be working on its normal, unscaled damage.
There is no doubt that the damage caused by the Break attack is comparable to that of V-Reversals.
V-Shift will add SF5 in the fifth season update, which will be officially launched tomorrow, but the server will be maintained from 8 pm Pacific time today.
