Although investors’ new concerns about rising bond yields have triggered greater turmoil in the market, major US stock indexes continue to rise.

The Nasdaq Composite Index is the largest gainer among the three major U.S. stock indexes, rising 2.4% in the first two months of 2021

. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index rose 1.5% over the same period, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.1%.

Some of the largest non-US companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq easily beat this performance.

Among the top ten foreign stocks traded on Wall Street, the five best-performing stocks so far this year recorded double-digit price increases, surpassing the three major US stock indexes.
