One of the NFL's great running backs receives the ultimate tribute from his former team.
The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that Thurman Thomas & # 39; s no. 34 jersey will become the third number in the franchise history when the Bills host the New England Patriots on Monday, October 29th. Thomas, whom Buffalo recorded in the Bill's Wall of Fame in 2005, ended his playing career as Buffalo's all-time leader in rankings (11,938) and touchdowns (65). He is the only player in NFL history to lead the league in scrimmage yards for four consecutive seasons (1989-1993).
