Samsung today started rolling out a stable update of One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 to the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The company first released the One UI 3.0 beta update to Galaxy Z Fold 2 users registered in South Korea a few months ago.
A stable UI 3.0 update has been released for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in Germany.New software update with firmware version F916BXXU1CTLL, Introduced Android 11 and January 2021 security patches to foldable devices. In addition to Android 11 features such as chat bubbles, the dialog part of the notification area, one-time permissions and dedicated media playback widgets, the new update also brings a UI 3.0 feature to Galaxy, such as a refreshed UI design and an improved stock app Z Fold 2.
If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 2 user in Germany, you will have received an update notification.If you have not received the update, you can navigate to Set value » Software update then click Download and install. You can also install it manually by downloading the new firmware from the firmware section.
We expect the update to be launched in other markets soon. Over the past year, Samsung’s software update rollout speed has been impressive, and the company has launched One UI 3.0 updates in most of its high-end phones.
