Developing a new smartphone is a huge investment, and that's why we see so many phones that are so much alike – if something works well for a manufacturer and customers respond positively, everyone else will want to do the same see scores everywhere). But occasionally we get a phone that's not afraid to play by its own rules, and that's exactly what we saw last year with the BlackBerry KEYone. Not everyone loved it ̵
Previously, BlackBerry Mobile tweeted the invitation below, affirming that KEYone's "rebirth" is less than a month away, the KEY2 launch event scheduled for June 7 in New York.
This branding is interesting as we could assume that this phone would land as KEYtwo. It remains to be seen if KEY2 is the formal name or just something used in promotions. If you did that, it would be easier to remember whether the "key" part or the number bit is activated, nobody has this problem?)
Rumors indicate that this year's model is a significant improvement over the KEYone could be, with the same unusual screen size and resolution, while upgrading to a Snapdragon 660 chip 6GB and switch to a dual-camera configuration. If all this can be done while retaining its exceptional battery life and (with your thumbs) solving some of its audio and performance problems, so much the better.
